I went to the liver specialist last Thurs. Here is the verdict on the liver problem: I have a fatty liver - pretty normal occurance actually, that is if I were a drug user or severly overweight or 60+ years old. None of those criteria obviously fit. Here is the worry: Not only do I have fatty deposits on my liver (which is basically normal - most people have them) I also have marbling of fat through my liver and the enzymes are severly incrased - for more details, see past journal entries in my jornal an WereKatt's journal. Here is the low down so to speak: If I do not take care of the liver problems now, the doctor gave me about 20 years to live - that means I would die from liver failure by the age of 43 - don't know about all of you, but that is way to friggin' young to die. Treatment: lose 10% of my body weight - increase my protein - increase my fiber - start walking and doing aerobic excercise daily. As far as weight loss goes - no pressure 0 he just wants me to lose about 1 lb. per month until I reach my goal of an 18 lb. weight loss. So far I have lost at least 4lb. I will know the official weigh in on Thurs. So, there you go. No more worries. I am ok. Thank you all for you support through this very trying time. Love you all.



On another note, WereKatt is getting the last 2 of his wisdom teeth removed today. They are impacted. Wish him luk. I am sure he will be fine.
